About Us
BLACK GIRLS ROCK! INC. is a 501c3 non-profit, youth empowerment and mentoring organization established for young women of color as a reaction to the often seen negative images consistently imprinted upon Black women expressly in mass media.
By raising awareness and offering support through discussion, education, counseling, internships, mentoring, and advocacy, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! seeks to build the self-esteem and self-worth of young women of color by changing their outlook on life and helping them to empower themselves.
