About Us
AHF is 501c6 nonprofit trade association whose members work for self-operated foodservice facilities in acute care, senior dining, and senior living facilities. Founded in 2009 after the merger of two legacy associations, AHF is the only national association dedicated to the self-operated healthcare foodservice industry serving more than 500 facilities encompassing over 1,300 industry professionals. We are dedicated to keeping our foodservice departments self-operated or in-house as we feel this provides the best patient experience and allows members to do what they do best – help patients recover faster.
