Nonviolence International-NY

  • About Us

Nonviolence International (NI) is a decentralized network of resource centers that promotes the use of nonviolent action and seeks to reduce the use of violence worldwide. We believe that every cultural and religious tradition can discover and employ culturally appropriate nonviolent methods for positive social change and international peace. Our office at the United Nations in New York City focuses on issues at the UN that are relevant to our work around the world - mainly promoting the culture of peace, disarmament, women's issues, strengthening civil society in general and at the UN, and advocating for a sustainable peace, justice and the rule of law in Palestine.
