  • About Us

Silver Reef was a silver mining town from the mid to late 1800's and became a ghost town by the 1900's. In the center of Main Street was the Wells Fargo Express Stop, built in 1877. The original building still stands and is now the Silver Reef Museum and gift shop. Docents, exhibits and events help keep the history of this small southern Utah town alive. In addition, on the fourth weekends of the month, special Living History reenactment shootouts and lectures are held.
