YWCA Hanover is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

What We’re Doing

YWCA Hanover operates quality child development programs for families with children ages 1 to 12 years old. This includes summer Camp Phoenix, School Age Learning Academy for before and after school care and toddler/preschool child development programs Monday through Friday, 6am -6pm.

The Safe Home domestic violence program offers free 24/7 services to victims of domestic violence. Victims receive safety planning, temporary housing, therapy, accompaniment to appointments and court, transportation to appointments, legal services, referral to shelters, and more. Advocates are also active in the community presenting education programs for the prevention of domestic violence.
