St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to the hungry. Serving two-thirds of Arizona’s 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need. Our goal is to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education.

We work with businesses and farms to collect food and distribute it throughout Northern Arizona through over 85 local agencies.

Our Flagstaff facility distributes over one million pounds of food every month! In our warehouse we need dedicated volunteers to help pack emergency food boxes, hand out food carts to our clients, and assist with general warehouse duties that allow us to ship food out throughout Northern Arizona.
