About Us

The Children's Center of John Jay College provides care during week-day classes for up to 55 children from six months through five years. The children are divided into four aged-based groups. The Center is located in Room 1500 North (445 W. 59th Street). The Center is available to students of the College who enroll their children so that they can attend day-time classes, study, work, and participate in College activities. Priority is given to matriculated undergraduates. Others, graduate and non-matriculated, may enroll when space is available. Child care hours are scheduled according to parent CLASS schedules. Hours for STUDY and WORK are assigned at the beginning of each semester according to available space and are not guaranteed. Children must be enrolled to attend the Center. Drop-off (occasional) care is not provided. Check the main page for enrollment procedures.
