About Us
The mission of the Community Wellness Alliance is to improve health and wellness outcomes of residents of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia through education, outreach and advocacy utilizing partnerships and collaboration. We focus our efforts in six areas: Cardiovascular Disease; Cancer; Diabetes; HIV/AIDS; Mental Health; and Tobacco. Our priority-specific focus communities include: Low-Income Populations; Ex-Offenders; People living with HIV/AIDS; and Residents of the District’s Wards 5, 6, 7 and 8.
