About Us
The Balfour Project hopes to achieve a much greater public awareness of Britain's current and historic responsibilities in the Middle East, and in particular its role there in the first half of the twentieth century. We work to acknowledge Britain’s continuing responsibilities to uphold equal rights for the Israeli and Palestinian peoples through popular education and advocacy. We also seek to persuade the British Government to recognise the state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel.
