Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District Education Foundation

Background: The MCPASD Education Foundation raises funds to augment programs and activities provided by the district. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2011. The Foundation is looking to hire its first Executive Director (part time) to lead it into the next phase of its growth. The Foundation currently raises about $100,000 per year and has two endowments with Madison Community Foundation totaling approximately $325,000.

Our mission: To provide inspiring experiences for our students now, and for decades to come, through teacher innovation grants, student scholarships and a growing endowment.

Our approach: We support the district’s efforts to improve student achievement across all demographic groups by focusing on equitable practices – the heart of an inclusive, innovative and inspiring learning community.

Our district: Located in south central Wisconsin and adjacent to the Capital City of Madison, the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District provides quality education for approximately 7,000 students in six elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and a charter high school.
