  • Mission

Boone County CASA's mission is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court with quality volunteer representation to provide each child with a safe, permanent, nurturing home.

    About Us

Boone County (IL) is one of the smaller counties but we still have the same mission as larger programs. We began in 1991. We have both men and women as advocates, who must be over 21, have reliable transportation, and pass an extensive background check. All advocates participate in a free 30 hour training program. We are very flexible in training. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, with a variety of backgrounds. It is a very challenging and rewarding role.
