  • About Us

Value of Volunteering is a project to create

a six-part documentary which creates an impression of what its like to volunteer in conservation and gives advice to young people hoping to volunteer abroad. Created by brother and sister Michael and Katie Garrett, the filming of the documentary took place in Central America in early 2012 when they visited 14 different NGOs and recorded their own experiences as well as that of other volunteers they met. The documentary is available for free at www.valueofvolunteering.org.
