    The Muscular Dystrophy UK Cambridge Town and Gown 10k is now in its 8th year and is a closed road, chip timed scenic 10k run and is a race that attracts professional athletes as well as fancy dress fun runners all creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the city. Volunteers are required to carry a variety of tasks during the day which can include water station marshall, baggage tent coordinator, goody bag distributor, information tent administrator, start and finish line marshals and route marshalls.

    About Us

    Each year, thousands of runners take on a Town and Gown 10k event in Oxford, Cambridge or Leicester. The series is a huge fundraising event for Muscular Dystrophy UK, raising over £2 million so far to fight against muscle-wasting conditions. We simply couldn’t put on the event without brilliant volunteers like you.
