TACO gathers as a community in service with the most vulnerable among us: offering meals, healing, and care to any and all who come.
About Us
For 40 years, volunteers from First Lutheran Church and the greater community have made and served homemade meals to the underprivedged in downtown San Diego. Free Meals are offered Mondays at 4 p.m. and Fridays at 9 a.m. In addition, free medical and dental services offered by the U.C.S.D. Department of Family and Preventative Medicine as well as free accupuncture services offered by the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine are available on Mondays to all low-income persons.
