Mountain Medics International

Mountain Medics International facilitates overseas medical mission trips and dental mission trips focused on improving the health and quality of life of mountain communities that provide a home to some of our world's poorest and under-served populations.   

MMI conducts remote medical outreach to research, diagnose and treat ailments of patients in developing areas with poor accessibility to care, that suffer from extreme poverty and lack basic nourishment and hygiene.  We collaborate with our communities, local health organizations, schools and governments to understand the best approach to support ongoing public health campaigns. 

Projects are supported by our partners and by the contributions of interested individuals, corporations, and sponsoring professional associations, including the ADA Foundation and Rotary International.

Our projects are a success because of you. We do the coordination and let you put your skills to work, whether you are a medical doctor, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse, dentist, optometrist, physical therapist, engineer, chiropractor, public health advocate or just like the mountains, learning from other cultures, or giving back through service.
