Lead: Build your leadershipcapacity through access toleadership trainings
Leadership Development – Emerging Leaders hosts four Leadership Breakfast events throughout the year. These breakfasts present exclusive opportunities for members of United Way Emerging Leaders to engage with established community leaders. Join us to hear from executives from around the region as they share their views on leadership and the importance of community involvement.
- Education and Advocacy - In an effort to increase volunteerism and support for our member nonprofits, the ELS hosts a Board Leadership Development Program, in which young professionals are trained to effectively participate on the boards of United Way NCA’s Member Nonprofits. Upon completion of the training sessions, United Way Emerging Leaders are placed with a United Way NCA Member Nonprofit to serve on their board of directors for one year.
