Emily Griffith Foundation

Mission:

To provide financial support to Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) in the areas of student scholarships, capital improvements, innovative projects, instructional equipment, endowment and other needs that cannot be funded by the school’s regular financial sources.

Vision:

The philosophy of visionary educator and EGTC founder Emily Griffith was to “serve all who wish to learn.” This vision is still viable today. Emily Griffith Foundation envisions a future in which all adults in Denver have the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education leading to higher paying jobs and a stronger community.

Organization Values, Priniciple and Strategies

• We value people and technology: We help pay for teachers and technology that will educate students in high- demand technical occupations so they can enter or re-enter the workforce.
• We support diversity: We serve one of Denver’s most diverse education institutions, offering technical education to thousands of local individuals and immigrants annually.
• We help EGTC students, financially, with the greatest need: We do our utmost to fairly assess each person’s financial situation and commitment to achieve.
