Uniting Our Youth, Inc. is a 501 [c]  non-profit organization based in the District of Columbia. Our programs focus on providing continued violence-reduction, violence-prevention and intervention services. We accomplish these processes through various means of therapeutic programs, mentoring, tutoring, and peer group participation.
UOY programs consists of a variety of proven life-skills workshops and social enrichment activities. Such programs and activities are designed to instill/enhance basic life/achievement goals into our youth in need, pointing them toward short and long-term ‘success-for-life’ goals.
The youth and young adults served by Uniting Our Youth, Inc. are at-risk males and females, low-income, minority, between grades 6 and 12, ages 14 – 25, which have been targeted due to behavioral, academic, and socio-economic factors
UOY goal is to foster commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and re-assert a sense of hope on the future. Our mission is the pursuit of the following principles: Commitment; Responsibility, Possibility and Support.
