    The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter, founded on January 27, 1990, is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based out of Norwood, Massachusetts. We offer more than a dozen free services for patients and their families, including an equipment loan program, support groups, insurance and benefits counseling and more. We also contribute significantly to research efforts both nationally and internationally, making The ALS Association the largest private source of funding for ALS research in the country. Our mission is to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
