Purpose Built Schools Atlanta

Purpose Built Schools Atlanta is part of an innovative partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, providing management services for under performing schools in south Atlanta. Our vision of success is to see every child living in our neighborhoods on a trajectory for success through college and in their careers. We believe we can provide outstanding results for our students and communities through high-quality instruction, intentional interventions and enrichment opportunities, and a strategic approach to serving our families’ needs beyond the schools’ walls.

The neighborhoods of south Atlanta have been served by schools that have not historically ensured opportunity for all the students in their care. These schools include Slater Elementary, Thomasville Heights Elementary, Price Middle and Carver High schools. PBSA is committed to leveraging our unique structure and best practices to help students who attend our schools discover their excellence--and improve the neighborhoods where they live.
