Austin Speech Labs is dedicated to improving quality of lives of stroke survivors and their caregivers. The organization provides intensive speech therapy at affordable cost of $30/hr for long as a stroke survivor needs it as language recovery post stroke is a long journey and insurance only covers limited number of visits. The clients receive individual and group therapy and work on reading, writing and speech. Stroke survivors are just like any of us, someone's mom, dad, husband, wife, CEO, physician, construction worker, musician, teacher - can be anyone. Our clients are in the age of 18 yrs - 85+ with majority being in the age of 30 - 60 yrs of age. With strokes occurring in younger population, it is important to provide low cost therapy. May receive free or discounted therapy as well.

We offer therapy in eight week sessions called Boot Camps and we provide five Boot Camps through out the year. Clients receive anywhere from 3 hrs to 6 hrs of therapy per day depending on their need. It takes a stroke survivor years to regain their language skills just like learning a second language. Austin Speech Labs was formed to bridge the gap between what insurance offers and what stroke survivors need to regain their communication skills.
