MISSION STATEMENT FOR MOVEMENT AGAINST POVERTY (MAP) SIERRA LEONE.

The movement Against Poverty (MAP) Sierra Leone is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-partism organisation that is engage in social and economic growth. It is form with the intention to render services to the marginalised, vulnerable and the neglected communities. MAP exists to help bring about the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) implementation by providing; supervising and directing the beneficiaries on how to achieve their basic felt needs in their localities, protect the rights of the poor and the less fortunate.

The Organization endeavours to transfer and make the application and benefit of the PRS realty at Household, Villages, Towns, Sections, Chiefdoms, Districts Regional and National level.

This project will be implemented with the aim of helping to minimise the Socio-Economic problems caused by the Rebel war and the Structural adjustment programme. Our standing as an example for good governance that engages all Citizens focusing particularly on the more vulnerable in society can not be regarded at this stage,

We value, maintain and improve on the Global call to eradicate poverty by applying strong principle of equal opportunity, recognition of all modes of transparency and fulfilment of goals. It is designed to improve, implement and maintain the socio-economic problem that causes abject poverty thereof. Continuous evaluation and engagement in the root cause of poverty in divers areas will be minimised and thus leading to deliberation of the victims.
