Alchemist Community Development Corporation is dedicated to supporting Sacramento area residents in their efforts to develop vibrant, equitable, sustainable and diverse communities. Our current projects are focused on improving access to healthy food for low-income populations, including operating EBT (food stamp) acceptance systems at multiple Sacramento area farmers’ markets, working with convenience markets (corner stores) to incorporate fresh produce and healthy options into their stock, and operating Urban Farm Stands in underserved areas.
