OUR MISSION

Studio Two Three is a nonprofit art studio that gives people the space, the tools, and the education to find that thing they love and make it. 

OUR PROGRAMS

STUDIO MEMBERSHIP

Members have 24/7 access to the studio. We have facilities for etching, relief, lithography, and screen printing, digital printing, and a black and white darkroom. Artist Residents have access to all printmaking equipment, conference and lounge spaces, a kitchenette, wireless internet, darkroom, and a community of fellow artists and craftspeople. CLASSES

Our classes are affordable and welcoming to learners of all levels. Topics range from screen printing, paper marbling and bookmaking to digital photography, sewing and calligraphy. Our instructors are established artists who bring their knowledge, expertise, and innovative approaches to the classroom. For more information visit the CLASSES page.

INTERNSHIPS

Our interns learn critical hands-on experience and resume-building skills by working in all aspects of S23’s operations, including gallery administration and installation, event planning, educational programming, fundraising and community outreach, and nonprofit administration. Our internships develop artistic and administrative skills in the next generation of Richmond artists. For more information visit the Internships Page.

STUDIO TWO THREE STORE

We are the home of sweet, sweet Richmond swag (and a lot of other cool stuff). Everything in our store is designed and printed in-house with lots of love. We also feature work by a rotating cast of talented local artists. Your purchase supports RVA's nonprofit art space! Be sure to swing by the store for in-store exclusives.

 FIELD TRIPS, TEAM BUILDING & CUSTOM EVENTS ON-SITE &  WITH OUR PRINT TRUCK: S23 TO-GO

We offer field trips for local schools as well as custom workshops for team building, corporate retreats, parties, weddings & more! You can come to Studio Two Three or bring our print truck, S23 To-Go to you. S23 To-Go is a mobile printmaking and photography studio and retail store on wheels! It's styled after ice cream trucks to emphasize art’s ability to delight and feed our spirits.
