  • Mission

Recycle Utah's mission is to empower our community members to lead sustainable lives. We provide community-based solutions with a focus on waste reduction and water preservation.

    About Us

Recycle Utah provides recycling services to residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties. We accept over 45 different items, including standard materials such as cardboard, white paper, mixed paper, glass (all 4 colors), aluminum, mixed metal, and plastics #1-7, including plastic bags.

Additionally, we accept materials that aren't commonly collected, such as EPS white packing foam and electronic waste. We also offer special collection programs for short periods of time, such as snowsports equipment and bike tires.

Our Warehouse accepts donations of good building materials, fixtures, and appliances and re-sells them for thrift store prices. We collect and re-sell moving boxes and packing materials as well.

In addition to collection, Recycle Utah is dedicated to educating our school children and the greater community about the environment. Topics include recycling, waste reduction, water protection, climate change, composting, and more.
