Mission
NYCHC’s mission is to foster a sense of community amongst people affected by bleeding disorders in the greater NYC area, and to improve their health outcomes and quality of life.
About Us
The New York City Hemophilia Chapter serves all people in the New York City area that are affected by bleeding disorders, including hemophilia, Von Willebrand Disease, and other rare bleeding disorders.
Recently, we have expanded our programming to focus more on underserved groups within the community, including:
- Latinos/Spanish-Speakers
- the Von Willebrand Disease community
- Bleeders with Inhibitors
- Families/Newly Diagnosed
- Teens and Young Adults
- Women with Bleeding Disorders
We are also currently developing more programming to serve women and people with rare bleeding disorders.
