Art Impact Project (AIP) currently partners with mental and behavioral health facilities, schools, after school programs, substance abuse recovery sites, a halfway house and the Lake County Jail by developing therapeutic art programming, and facilitating the projects with participants in small group settings. Each of our sessions is approximately 90 minutes. We sit side by side with the participants creating and completing a project with them. The niche we have created is one of trust and understanding, therefore bringing about deep expression through the artmaking process. Our partners find that our program model greatly assists them in obtaining an enhancement of expression for their existing programs, therapies, etc. We provide all materials needed and volunteer Art Advocates to facilitate the projects and programming.
