ReLeaf Cville

Founded in 2021, ReLeaf Cville is motivated by a founding principle: trees save lives. ReLeaf is a small, but mighty team whose mission is to protect the health of Charlottesville neighborhoods, prioritizing those experiencing severe heat from our changing climate. We achieve this by:

1. Planting trees to increase the City’s tree canopy
2. Preserving existing trees to help maintain the canopy

3. Educating the community about Charlottesville’s vital tree canopy particularly educating future environmental leaders.
