GENERATION PRODIGY

Generation Prodigy assists students by providing skills to survive college and life. GP also mentors middle and high school students and follow them through college. Each student adopted into the GP family will experience mentoring, annual tours and Teen Talk mentoring programs.

Students have opportunities to participate in confidential group discussions and process groups with their peers, mentors and counselors. Students meet monthly or as needed.

Objectives

• Students will process information to understand and maximize his or her given potential, leading to self-actualization and self-worth.​

• Students will understand the emotional effects of social media and its potential impact on his or her life.

• Students will understand how their behavior impacts their family, classmates and teachers.

• Students will understand how to positively influence others through self-discipline and self-control.

• Students will receive support from peers.

• Students will learn communication skills to enhance his or her relationship with others.
