    Our equine assisted services help those with special needs reach their highest potential, gain self-confidence, and self-esteem, through equine-oriented activities in a safe and positive Hill Country environment.

    About Us

    Open T.R.A.I.L. Ranch provides equine assisted services to children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in San Antonio, Boerne, and the surrounding areas. We offer these services through Adaptive Riding, Equine Assisted Learning, Occupational Therapy incorporating Hippotherapy. We also provide Interactive Vaulting as a part of our other programs.

    All lessons are conducted by licensed professionals in their field of speciality: Occupational Therapy, PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health Learning.
