Alternative Volunteer

Alternative Volunteer (AV) is not-for-profit, out of political and religious influence and fully humanitarian organization. It is registered In Kathmandu with 830 registration numbers in 2011 AD which creates volunteer opportunity to the youths in different national and local levels organized by government as well as foreigners to serve the Community.

It is an organization which is dedicated to make more responsible volunteers which can develop social tourism concept in Nepal. Nepal Government has not got clear policy to the volunteering service due to the lack of strong government and inadequate counseling and training to the specific fields. Many volunteers are suffering from the above mentioned causes as they are obliged to abandon their interest to serve as a volunteer in Nepal. We are trying to address the problems seen in social tourism
