Rondo Young Artist Festival
We are thrilled to present the first annual Rondo Young Artist Festival, an International Concert Showcase which is set out to encourage young musicians to further their musical talents. Our idea is simple: to build confidence in the participants and prepare them for successful lives ahead, while helping their budding musical careers and promoting the spread of classical music in our communities. Rondo Young Artist Festival is an independent and unaffiliated non-profit organization.
The winners of the festival will perform on a world-renowned concert stages in New York and Connecticut including the Greenwich Arts Center, Steinway Hall, and Carnegie Hall, NYC. They will receive comments from our elite judges, and will be awarded winners trophies for their significant achievement.
Rondo Young Artist Festival is open to all instrumentalists, vocalists, as well as chamber ensembles representing all musical traditions ages five through eighteen
(please see appropriate age category). Guidance will be provided to the participants through master-classes with influential performers/teachers from the music industry.
“Rondo”, a word borrowed from the Italian language , means “to return” – indicating the return to the original theme. This word is very meaningful to the founders of the Festival, as when they were young musicians they partook in similar Festivals, that were very helpful in guiding their careers. They now look to be able to provide the same service to a new generation of musicians, and share what they’ve learned from their own experience as performers.
