AUTISM SOCIETY OF AMERICA

  • Mission

The Autism Society of the Lakeshore (ASL) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization chartered by the Autism Society of America in 1996. The goal of ASL is to assist persons within the autism spectrum, their families and the communities in which they live through providing information, referral, advocacy, public awareness, education and support.

    About Us

ASL serves the Counties of Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Kewaunee, East Calumet and Door co. We are operated 100% by volunteers. Our annual Ugly Sweater Run brings in most of our funds for the year, however we also do other fundraisers throughout the year. One fundraiser we do is at our local Pizza Ranch and one in Sheboygan. We provide many things for those affected by Autism in our area such as: monthly meetings, friendship group, summer picnic, Christmas party with Santa and all kids get gifts, funds for Annual Autism conference, funds for sensory needs, a library with many books on all things related to Autism, and other funds for other needs. We can not provide all we do without the support of our community and our amazing volunteers.
