    • Mission

    VIP creates sustainable, meaningful mentoring relationships for children in the tri-county area, especially the City of Detroit, whose difficult circumstances seriously compromise their opportunities to succeed. Mentoring relationships are created early in the child's life and are supported long-term in order to prevent and curb behaviors that could lead to the child's involvement with the judicial system.

    About Us

    We offer mentoring to children in various settings(ie)school, community and site. Community based mentoring is done on a 1-1 basis, school and site based is 2-3 to 1 ratio. School mentoring is done for the complete school year during a class period and site based is done year round . A facilitator is on site during school and site based programs. All programs offer mentor support and mentor/mentee outings during the year. If you have wanted to make a difference in a childs life then VIP is the place for you.
