The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a family park that replicates the farm settlements of Eastern Kansas in the early 1900s. The Farmstead was opened in 1978 with just a few animals and interactive amenities. It is now a 12-acre park that welcomes over 400,000 visitors a year and provides access to both native and farm animals, expansive vegetable and flower gardens, a one-room country school house, old time fishing pond, daily horse drawn wagon rides, Kaw Indian earthen lodge & Tipi, gemstone mining, bottle feeding baby goats and fully functional dairy barn. Our replica Main Street features a general store, ice cream parlor, bank, barber shop and a fully functioning blacksmith shop. Whether you are more inclined to interact with our guests or our animals, Deanna Rose has a place that would love for energy and effort! Please contact us for more detailed information.
