    The Polymer Processing Institute (PPI) was founded in 1982 as an independent, non-profit, industrial organization, hosted at New Jersey Institute of Technology a public Carnegie-1 technological university. Recognized world-wide as a premier independent polymer engineering and science industrial research facility and organization with facilities for polymer and energetic viscous composite materials processing, characterization and testing, wet chemistry, as well as processing equipment, die, and mold design.
