About Us
The Foundation was created in 1963 by its Founders, Marie C. and Joseph C. Wilson, out of a deep sense of commitment to the Rochester community and their desire to enhance the quality of life for its residents. Although they are now deceased, the work of the Foundation is carried on by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Over its 50-year history the Foundation has been committed to social and community initiatives in Rochester and throughout the nation. The Foundation is now solely focused on making an impact in the Rochester area.
