    1) Provide a safe gathering place where all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can gather, recreate, learn, play and grow, 2) Sustainably preserve our historic, landmark facility for the continued use to support the University District community and Greater Seattle Area. Our Belief: "Old Schools still Teach". Our Vision: "Building a Sense of Neighborhood" Our Continuing Goal: We wish for the opportunity to join with our neighbors, community members, local area businesses and organizations to help this community center grow to serve more of our collective needs.

    About Us

    An 112-year-old former elementary school, now multi-purpose community center located in the heart of the University District which serves more than 100,000 people throughout the year. Our facility hosts over 200 different groups, activities and classes every year. Many individuals, families, groups and organizations visit us here for workshops, classes, programs and events.
