Mexic-Arte Museum is dedicated to cultural enrichment and education through the presentation and promotion of traditional and contemporary Mexican, Latino and Latin American art and culture.
About Us
Mexic-Arte Museum is a non-profit visual arts institution funded by the City of Austin, the Texas Commission on the Arts, foundations, corporations and members. Since its founding in 1984, Mexic-Arte has emerged as the leading Latino art museum serving Austin and Central Texas. As a sister museum to the Diego Rivera and Frida Khalo Studio Museum in Mexico City, Mexic-Arte has presented the works of internationally recognized artists.
