Children Awaiting Parents/The Donald J. Corbett Adoption Agency is an agency focused on placing children from the foster care system with permanent adoptive families. The children CAP/DCAA works for include those who are considered more difficult to place -- those who are older, those with disabilities (whether physical, mental, or emotional), minorities, and sibling groups.

To increase the visibility of these children CAP/DCAA began by publishing The CAP Book, a photo listing registry of children from across the U.S. This has now changed to featuring children on the website.

CAP/DCAA is eager to help families explore the possibilities of adoption for over 100,000 children in the U.S. who are freed waiting for a family. Many have been neglected or abused; all need permanent homes.
