  • Mission

Our goal is to improve ones’ quality of life by providing food and essentials short term while empowering them with resources to help themselves in the future.

    About Us

Trials For Hope is a community outreach program located in Lakewood, OH and serves the greater Cleveland area. We provide food, personal care items and clothing to the homeless, seniors, shut-ins, youth, veterans and families in crisis. We provide at least 175 bags of food, 800 plus personal care bags and over 1,000 lbs of vegetables per month. Some of our current programs include Leftovers are a Blessing, Medical Monday, "Outside the Box", Thursday Street Outreach, Community meals, "Rolling in the Dough" and after school programs. Our organization was started in 2010 when the founder, Jon was asked to dispose of some travel size toiletries for an organization he volunteered at that had to close it's doors. He took those toiletries to a local community meal to pass out and found out what a need these items were and how appreciative people were to receive them. We are now helping over 2,100 people per year and hope to continue to grow and offer more assistance in our community.
