BCT is dedicated to improving life in India's villages. BCT's motto is "Our Country's prosperity lies in the well-being of our villages."
Since 1976 BCT has introduced innovative rural development programs in fields like wasteland development, women’s empowerment, micro-lending, and rural education. BCT was among the first NGOs in India when it was organized almost 30 years ago. BCT is located in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, but its pioneering efforts in rural development have been replicated across India.
