DONKEYS OF THE HEART

  • Mission

The Donkeys of the Heart provides individualized equine-assisted services with donkeys for children and adolescents, supporting mental health, emotional regulation, communication, and confidence through a safe, professional, and ethical model.

We partner with donkeys. Unusual in the USA, in Europe we work with donkeys for almost 3 decades. They are considered as premier animal to address mental health challenges.

    We have 2 programs:

    • Adaptive/Therapeutic Riding
    • Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)

Our volunteers are the driving force behind our organization.

Let us know if you have a special skill. If you have the will to help make a difference in someone’s life, contact us!

Here’s where we need your help:

    • Donkey’s care
    • Volunteer Board of Advisors
    • Fundraising
    • Marketing Public
    • Financial and Legal
    • PR
