The mission of the Washington Chiefs Youth Mentoring Program is to foster positive skills, character and social development in by facilitating an ongoing relationship with a caring adult (football players & professional dancers) who can provide support, guidance, and ssistance on a one-to-one basis, and who serves as a friend, Role model, and advocate. Washington Chiefs Athletes-In-Motion program director matches trained volunteers with youth in middle school through high school in a one-to-one relationship.

Volunteers serve as positive role models, supporters, and friends the youth can count on. Matches meet at community center or at the Washington Chiefs office, to share a variety of social, recreational, and community service activities.
