Para el Mundo USA

OUR MISSION: Para el Mundo provides meaningful service-learning opportunities in South America in the fields of education and medical aid. By fostering informative relationships with local universities, industry experts, and college/graduate-level interns, Para el Mundo works to create sustainable programs and safe environments for students to develop new skills while working in developing countries.

OUR PROGRAM: Para el Mundo USA is seeking qualified undergraduate women to travel to Peru from June 18 - July 1, 2013 to provide classes in reproductive health to underserved populations of women in Lima and Cusco. Starting in February 2013, our cohort will meet bi-weekly to participate in trainings related to effective lesson planning, fundraising, community development and cultural appreciation. We will also have opportunities to work with local organizations in the Asheville that serve Latina women.
