About Us

The Stroum Jewish Community Center inspires connections that build community and foster Jewish continuity. Together we create outstanding programs, partnerships and spaces that welcome everyone to learn, grow and celebrate Jewish life and culture.

Established in 1949, the Stroum Jewish Community Center welcomes more then 10,000 people each year across our two campuses and throughout our community. Programs include our highly acclaimed Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Childhood School, Parenting Center, Summer Day Camp, Cultural and Performing Arts, Senior Programs, and Health and Wellness programs which include a fitness center, gymnasium, pool, steam rooms, hot tubs, racquetball courts and an array of fitness classes and personal training options. The main campus is located on Mercer Island at 3801 East Mercer Way. The Seattle campus is located in Seattle at 2618 NE 80th Street; membership is open to everyone.
