Mission
To train, assist, and connect campuses and communities in promoting quality alternative break programs that inspire lifelong active citizenship. We also provide membership services to colleges and university campuses; and, provide regional and national training to students and staff; and, provide online resources to support active citizenship.

Through training and immersive service experiences, Break Away equips individuals to create positive change in and with their communities. We train, assist, and connect campuses and communities in promoting quality alternative break programs that inspire lifelong active citizenship, helping individuals learn how - and why - to make the community a priority in their values and choices.
