About Us
Healing Pathway Victim Service Agency is a 501 (c)(3) organization, dedicated solely to the empowerment and support of children that have lost a parent to homicide. The organization was founded in 2012, in response to an increase of homicidal rates, and minimal amount of services dedicated to child co-victims. It became clear that specialized services were essential for this underserved population. With a group of dedicated volunteers, Healing Pathway Victim Service Agency provides a child with consistent long term support, and viable opportunities for a healthy future. The Healing Pathway team believes that it is necessary to offer a blend of culturally competent services, that are also uses a Trauma Informed Care model. Healing Pathway believes that children that have lost a parent or parents to homicide need a multi-dimensional range of interventions, specifically in the areas of advocacy, education, prevention, leadership, caretaker supports, and ongoing resource referrals. There are many children left with a huge void, and long term needs. We believe in collaborative community partnerships, for the overall goal, which is to restore hope, and healthy to our children.
