NAMI New Orleans

NAMI New Orleans offers hope, help, and healing to people with mental illness - and to those who share their lives - through family support, education and advocacy, and quality psychosocial services. Our work helps individuals live with dignity and independence within the community, enriching all of our lives.

NAMI New Orleans provides services, education and advocacy for people with mental illness and their families in the Greater New Orleans area. These include consumer-led drop-in centers, housing, case management, peer and family support groups, Peer to Peer and Family to Family Education Courses, and a Family Resource Specialist. We also host a yearly NAMIWalk to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental illness.
