About Us
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is a regional nonprofit organization that builds and fosters partnerships to restore the Bay and its rivers. To this end, the Alliance:
develops methods and tools for restoration activities and trains citizens to use them
mobilizes decision-makers, stakeholders, and other citizens to learn about Bay issues and participate in resolving them
provides analysis, information, and evaluation of bay policies, proposals, and institutions.
The Alliance's RestoreCorps volunteer program is joining forces with the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement (EASI) in Virginia to enhance local environmental volunteerism. EASI is a non-profit organization which brings together the collective resources of the aging and environmental communities.
